Win result increasingly likely for Jokowi
WITH the official results of Indonesia's presidential election only a week away, a win for Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo - or Jokowi, as he is better known - is increasingly assured.
At least seven reputable polling firms and media agencies which provided quick counts or random samples of ballots cast at the July 9 election have named him the winner by a margin of between 2 and 7 percentage points.
The margins of error of those surveys were no more than 0.7 per cent.
