AirAsia X to cut unprofitable routes
[KUALA LUMPUR] AirAsia X Bhd's acting Chief Executive Officer Benyamin Ismail said the airline will axe unprofitable routes from its network but ruled out Australia, the New Straits Times reported on Tuesday.
Mr Benyamin said AirAsia X will also look at adding new routes that will yield more profit, but declined to reveal the new destinations.
"We are not going to cut the routes to Australia, except to limit the frequency of flights as it has not been very cost-efficient," he said at an event in Bangkok.
