Airbus remains upbeat on China market

European maker opens delivery centre in Tianjin for wide-body aircraft; expectations are that China's aviation market will grow by double digits in the next 10 years

EUROPEAN aircraft manufacturer Airbus has inaugurated a delivery centre in Tianjin for wide-body aircraft amid expectations that China's aviation market will post double-digit growth over the next 10 years.

The completion and delivery centre will receive its first A330 aircraft in 2017 and will produce two aircraft per month. Currently Airbus delivers 20 A330s per year to China.
