Asia-Pac to soak up 40% of pilots, technicians
Over next 20 years, region will also take delivery of most commercial jets

THE Asia-Pacific will require 226,000 new commercial airline pilots and 238,000 maintenance technicians over the next two decades, making it the biggest driver worldwide by its accounting for some 40 per cent of global demand.
Globally, the aviation industry will need more than a million new aviation personnel - namely 558,000 commercial airline pilots and 609,000 maintenance technicians.
