Car COE premiums edge up
CERTIFICATE of entitlement (COE) premiums for cars and commercial vehicles rose, with only the motorcycle premium softening.
Category A - for cars below 1,600 cc and 130 hp - climbed S$1,201 to S$44,002, and Cat B - for cars above 1,600 cc or 130 hp - inched up S$199 to S$50,001.
Cat E - the open category which currently tracks Cat B - was S$202 higher at S$50,101, while Cat C - for goods vehicles - jumped S$2,597 to S$42,809.
But Cat D - for motorcycles - slipped S$150 to S$5,851.
