Car dealers welcome VES clarification
NEA says all cars will be tested for particulate matter emissions only from July 1, 2018, not Jan 1, 2018

MOTOR distributors of mostly European brands heaved a sigh of relief on Wednesday, when the National Environment Agency (NEA) confirmed that particulate matter (PM) emissions would be measured in all cars only from July 1, 2018, not six months earlier from Jan 1.
The Vehicular Emissions Scheme (VES) replaces the Carbon Emissions-based Vehicle Scheme (CEVS) for new cars, taxis and newly imported used cars from Jan 1, 2018.
