Celebrity Cruises sets sights on affluent in Asia
It sees potential as demand for more premium travel rises
[SINGAPORE] Well-heeled Asian cruise lovers can soon look forward to a more premium offering here.
Celebrity Cruises (Celebrity), Royal Caribbean's luxury brand, yesterday announced that it will be establishing a single-brand organisation here to attract the growing number of wealthy travellers in Asia, particularly in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Celebrity also announced that it has appointed Singaporean Kelvin Tan to be its commercial director for the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore, his team will oversee the brand's commercial, marketing, trade support and sales in the region.
