Changi Airport's activity rises in July
SINGAPORE'S Changi Airport saw increased activity in July, the group said in a statement.
It handled 5.18 million passenger movements in July 2016, up 5.9 per cent year-on-year.
Aircraft movements rose 4.7 per cent at 30,790 landings and takeoffs, while cargo shipments climbed 9.4 per cent to reach 161,450 tonnes, versus the same period last year.
In July, all of Changi's top five country markets achieved growth of at least 5 per cent.
Passenger traffic between Singapore and China rose 13.4 per cent to over half a million movements.
Among Changi's top 10 cities, Denpasar (up 13.1 per cent) and Melbourne (up 20.6 per cent) recorded the strongest growth.
