COE premiums up across the board
PREMIUMS for certificates of entitlement (COEs) rose across the board on Wednesday as buyers returned to the showroom for the start of the new year.
In the first bidding exercise for 2015, Category A - for cars below 1,600cc and 130 hp - inched up S$121 to S$66,010, while Cat B - for cars above 1,600cc and 130 hp - rose S$1,289 to S$75,289.
Cat E - the open category which currently tracks Cat B - climbed S$1,210 to S$75,200
Meanwhile, Cat C - for goods vehicles - increased by S$2,911 to S$55,011, while Cat D - for motorcycles - was S$91 higher at S$4,403.
