Demand for goods vehicles skyrockets

ORDERS for commercial vehicles have skyrocketed but certificate of entitlement (COE) premiums are not expected to rise because of the huge COE supply in the next three months.
"Distributors are collecting a crazy number of orders,'' said Vincent Ng, consultant for parallel importer Ideal Motoring.
Alvyn Ang, Cycle & Carriage's director of multi-franchise operations, said: "In general, demand has increased for the whole market because list prices have dropped by about S$25,000.''
