EgyptAir black box flight recorders have been repaired: commission

[CAIRO] The black box flight recorders of an EgyptAir plane that plunged into the Mediterranean last month have been repaired, Egypt's investigation commission said Tuesday, prompting hopes they could provide clues on why the aircraft went down.
The black box recorders "have been successfully repaired ... by the French accident investigation agency laboratory," the commission said in a statement.
