MERCEDES Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who raced into the championship lead for the first time this season after a win at the Italian Grand Prix, is keen on maintaining that edge at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Having chalked up 238 points this season, it is now a tight race between him and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who trails by just three points. Hamilton's teammate, Valtteri Bottas, is in third place with 197 points.
