Inquiry finds MH17 plane shot down by BUK missile: Dutch paper
[THE HAGUE] International investigators have concluded that doomed Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 was shot down by a Russian-made BUK missile fired from rebel-held eastern Ukraine, a Dutch daily said Tuesday.
The final report was due to be officially unveiled later Tuesday. But quoting three sources close to the investigation, the respected Volkskrant daily said the 15-month Dutch-led inquiry had found that the plane was hit by a BUK surface-to-air missile on July 17, 2014 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
