FROM Wednesday, India's Jet Airways will be boosting capacity on its daily flights between Singapore and Delhi by upgauging to the wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft.

Currently, the carrier operates the narrow-body Boeing 737, and the increase translates to 50 per cent more seat capacity on what it describes as a "high-demand" sector. Aside from greater comfort, the move will offer convenient connections for those travelling to India from the Asean region and Australia, the carrier said. From Delhi, Jet Airway's domestic network covers 51 destinations across India.
