Lufthansa Technik to raise Asia revenue
[SINGAPORE] Aviation service provider Lufthansa Technik expects the Asia-Pacific region to contribute more to the group's revenue in the near future, said August Wilhelm Henningsen, chairman of the company's executive board.
Speaking at a media briefing at Raffles Hotel yesterday, Mr Henningsen said the company expected 20 per cent of the group's revenue to come from the region in three years' time, up from the current 15 per cent.
The increase comes from a near trebling of its regional fleet from 5,000 to 14,000 aircraft in the next 20 years, the company said.
