MPA to reduce incident risk off S'pore: Khaw

THE Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is stepping up efforts to reduce incident risk for passenger ferries and smaller vessels plying Singapore waters.
These come after the incident involving passenger ferry Sea Princelast November, and the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) Manila Statement last April addressing the safety of ships carrying passengers on non-international voyages.
