Service on North-East line resumes after 20-minute delay due to signalling fault

TRAIN service on the North-East line was delayed in both directions for about 20 minutes on Tuesday night due to a signalling fault.
"Additional travel time of up to 15 minutes may be expected," SBS Transit said in a Tweet at 7.53pm.
In a follow-up tweet at 8.12pm, SBS Transit apologised for the inconvenience and said that full service had resumed.
Free bus services were available between Sengkang & Punggol for a period of time.
