SIA upscales regional cabin products with US$350m investment

SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) is investing US$350 million in new cabin products for its 20 Boeing 787-10 aircraft as it seeks to strengthen its premium positioning in an intensely competitive market.
This comes on the heels of a recently announced US$850 million facelift of its 19 A380 aircraft, and as the airline begins to conceptualise new seats for its 20 upcoming 777-9 aircraft, including a refreshed first class.
