[SINGAPORE] The Singapore Maritime Week (SMW) is back with a record number of events for a wide audience ranging from industry players to the general public.
Driven by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the ninth edition of the SMW, from April 6 to 11, centres around the theme of "People, Ideas and Opportunities". It will be the biggest show since its inception in 2006 featuring 29 events.
"We have put in more efforts to reach out to the public, especially the young, through fun and exciting outreach activities," said Andrew Tan, chief executive of the MPA.
