IN the second phase of its electric vehicle (EV) testing, the government will trial an EV car-sharing programme in Singapore with up to 1,000 fully electric passenger cars over a 10-year project duration.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Economic Development Board (EDB) on Monday announced that they are seeking proposals for this fleet-based trial to enable the government to gain a deeper understanding of the operating models and support required for EVs to succeed on a larger scale in Singapore.
