S'pore Airshow conferences to cover market challenges
OVER 300 senior government officials and members of the aviation community are expected to attend the Singapore Airshow Aviation Leadership Summit (SAALS) next February, one of three invitation-only conferences built around the biennial airshow.
Held at Raffles City Convention Centre, the fourth edition of SAALS (Feb 9-10) - themed "Shaping the Next Century of Commercial Aviation" - will include three panel sessions covering pressing issues facing the industry, such as the road towards carbon neutral growth following the 38th International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) General Assembly this year.
Key speakers will include Minister for Transport Lui Tuck Yew and Tony Tyler, director-general of the International Air Transport Association.
