TIGER Airways and Scoot will find more room to work together, following the move by Singapore Airlines (SIA) to raise its stake in embattled Tiger.

The two budget airlines received antitrust immunity from the Competition Commission of Singapore in August, which allows them to co-operate on areas such as scheduling, pricing, sales and marketing as well as service policies. The alliance will also enable Scoot and Tiger to better feed connecting traffic to each other via Changi Airport.
