Tigerair to fly direct between Singapore and China's Zhengzhou from June
BUDGET carrier Tigerair will add direct flights between Singapore and Zhengzhou, the provincial capital of China's Henan province, starting June 28 this year, it said in a press release on Thursday.
It added that it was the only airline offering this route non-stop.
Lee Lik Hsin, chief executive officer of Tigerair, said in the statement that Henan was one of the most populous provinces in China and the new service would provide a "convenient air link" for travellers from Singapore to get to Zhengzhou as well as other cities in the province including Kaifeng, Luoyang and Anyang.
Tigerair will begin selling tickets for the flights on April 22, "with promotional prices starting from S$188 for one-way trips", it said.
