Two-day strike disrupts flights in France

Hundreds of services cancelled after air traffic controllers' union called the protest over working conditions

Air France warned of "very severe disruption" to its flight schedule. Though the airline planned to operate long-haul flights, medium and short-haul services would be badly affected, it said.


HUNDREDS of flights to and from France were expected to be cancelled later on Wednesday as air traffic controllers launched a two-day strike over working conditions.
