SELECT users of ride-hailing service provider Uber will now be able to pay for their rides in cash, as the company departs from its card-only payment policy in Singapore.
The move, an experiment available in more than 40 other cities, is a result of the company adapting to the local market, along with driver and user demand, said Uber Singapore general manager Warren Tseng on Wednesday.
