Uber pilots ride-sharing service in Japan

TAXI app Uber on Thursday launched a pilot ride-sharing service in one Japanese city, its latest bid to take on the transport industry around the world.
The California company's "Everyone's Uber" service went live in the morning in the western city of Fukuoka, the firm's research partner, Kyushu University, said.
