SINGAPORE Airlines Limited's (SIA) newly minted associated company, Virgin Australia Holdings Limited (VAH), may be looking to raise US$300 million in the US in a bid to diversify its funding.
SIA, which formed a strategic alliance with VAH back in 2011 to entrench its position in Australia, now holds 22.8 per cent interest in VAH. Its nominee director, Goh Choon Phong, also sits on the VAH board.
