PM: No further sharp curbs on foreign workers

Both the presidents of the Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) and Singapore Meat Traders Associations (SMTA), whose members are predominantly SMEs, welcomed Mr Lee's reassurance on not putting a further squeeze on foreign workers.
RAS' Andrew Tjioe said: "It's very encouraging. The situation is bad enough already. The SMEs are affected. We don't want to make it any worse."
