THE latest proposed CPF changes live up to my expectations, as an interested stakeholder, of providing us with more options. This is as important as the issue of retirement adequacy, which is subjective - after all, how long is a piece of string? How we choose to live our golden years varies - with fine dining, golf, luxury cars, private property and private healthcare at one end of the rainbow, and, in contrast, hawker meals, public transport, a modest lifestyle and subsidised public healthcare at the other end.
