Thakral surges 14% after acceptance of bid for HK properties

SHARES of mainboard-listed Thakral Corporation surged on news that the group has accepted a HK$420 million (S$73 million) bid for its warehouse properties in Hong Kong following a five-week tender process that closed on Thursday.
The counter closed at 58 Singapore cents on Friday, up seven Singapore cents or nearly 14 per cent, with some two million shares traded. It had hit an intraday high of 67 Singapore cents and low of 57 Singapore cents.
