From mainframe computers in 1960 to smartphones in 2007, computing devices have shrunk significantly in size. This is partially driven by Moore's Law, which predicts that the number of transistors per square inch doubles every 18 months.
Over the next five years, we expect the display industry to produce a substantial change in terms of form factor, with the development of organic electroluminescent display (OLED) technology.
