Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 39.55 points to 1,602.26.

Volume was 9.187 billion lots worth RM5.348 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 760 to 479.
