Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 21.86 points to 1,652.49.

Volume was 8.061 billion lots worth RM4.386 billion.

Losers more than doubled gainers 864 to 378.
