THE Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore (AustCham) welcomed news that Australia is looking at extending a travel bubble to include Singapore, emphasising that travel between the two nations is essential for business.
This comes after Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Sunday that it is engaged in talks to reopen its borders to Singapore, Japan, South Korea and South Pacific nations as the number of virus cases subside, according to a Reuters report. The Australian Foreign Minister reportedly had talks with Singapore last week on the resumption of travel.
