Umno held meeting to decide on deputy PM nominee: sources

MALAYSIA'S Umno Supreme Council is reported to have held another meeting on Thursday to discuss who should be nominated for the position of deputy prime minister in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government.
The New Straits Times quoted party sources as having told Berita Harian that the meeting was chaired by Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and attended by his deputy, as well as all three vice-presidents.
