Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.73 points to 1,504.85.

Volume was 7.658 billion lots worth RM6.493 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 729 to 348.
