Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.39 points, or 0.50 per cent, to 1,480.75 as at 9.04am.
Volume was 238.52 million lots worth about RM52.37 million. Losers beat gainers 218 to 101.
