Malaysia: Shares close lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.62 points to 1,376.93.

Volume was 5.887 billion lots worth RM2.800 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 445 to 441.
