Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.31 points or 0.30 per cent to 1,447.80 as at 9.20am.
Volume was 221.3 million lots worth RM133.96 million.
Gainers beat losers 187 to 154.
