    CHOCOLATE JOY

What happens when you combine chocolate with chrysanthemum, red dates and goji berries? You get Happy Cioccolato, created by Singaporean Jolyn Yong. After a few years in the corporate world, Ms Yong found her calling as a chocolate maker. She personally makes each bar of chocolate herself, using only cocoa, cocoa butter and organic coconut sugar. There is no dairy, soy, nuts or preservatives in her chocolates. Having grown up with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Ms Yong decided to incorporate TCM concepts into her chocolate. For example, she adds black sesame seeds to her chocolate, as it is believed to be good for the hair, while chrysanthemum and goji berries are said to brighten the eyes and reduce eye fatigue. ~ Tay Suan Chiang
