EVEN as the global Covid-19 epidemic weighs on the economy, Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing urged Singapore on Tuesday to gear up for two long-term drivers of change: global shifts and technology.
And now, with supply chains worldwide disrupted by the Covid-19 epidemic , Mr Chan added that companies here "have to fundamentally re-examine the resilience of our supply chains" and diversify sources and markets for supplies and manpower.
