Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.21 points or 0.76 per cent to 1,228.93 at 9.03am.

    Volume was 81.52 million lots worth RM26.17 million. Gainers beat losers 156 to 65.
