Malaysia ramps up support for virus-hit economy to RM250b
Among the measures announced are RM50b to guarantee working capital loans; RM1b to ensure sufficient food supply

MALAYSIA announced billions of dollars in fresh support for an economy punished by the coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said Friday the government was unveiling RM250 billion (S$82.4 billion) in support for the economy. That figure includes a RM20-billion package announced last month by the previous government, as well as other measures presented since then, he added.
