Singapore Design at the Olympics
Theseus Chan makes his mark on the Games with art.

THESEUS CHAN LOVES skateboarding, so he couldn't be more chuffed that his favourite sport is making its debut at the 2020 Summer Olympics this July in Tokyo.
It's particularly pertinent considering it's his inspiration for an artwork he created for the Games - the only Singaporean invited to do so.
Mr Chan, 59, is the founder of design studio Work and self-published magazine Werk. Also known as the godfather of Singapore design, he is one of 20 artists and designers invited by the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to create artworks that project the power and energy of sports.
