Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.88 points to 1,589.45.

Volume was 12.499 billion lots worth RM6.644 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 592 to 506.
