Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.87 point to 1,591.48.

Volume was 11.612 billion lots worth RM6.235 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 582 to 505.
