SIBLING RIVALRY is a non-issue for the Chia family. In fact, Brandon Chia and his younger sister Su-Mae get along so well that they've just moved into a pair of semi-detached houses in Siglap.
Come Christmas, the two neighbours will come together for a family celebration that will be twice as big. Outside, the two three-storey plus basement houses have separate front gates, but share a common indoor lap pool.
Mr Chia is CEO of HDI Family of Companies, whose core business is in apitherapy - dealing in bee pollen, honey and related health products - lives with his wife, Dawn Tan and their two children in one of the houses. The other is occupied by Ms Chia, founder of skincare label BSKIN and her husband Bryan Lim, who works in the tech industry.
