Lounge In Style
Tay Suan Chiang
First-class Qantas passengers have a new place to rest their weary selves at the airline's brand new First Lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 1 - a sprawling 1000 sq m space designed with an Aussie DNA but a strong Singapore accent. The latter comes through in the tropical design elements and F&B offerings. The menu is strongly inspired by Singapore flavours, interpreted by famed Australian chef Neil Perry, with dishes such as grilled skate in browned sambal butter. In addition, faux skylights in the shower suites and lounge area replicate natural daylight, to help passengers adjust their body clock, especially those who are flying through multiple time zones. The lounge is open to first-class and top-tier frequent fliers from Qantas and oneworld.
