The much-awaited Netflix mob movie The Irishman, directed by Martin Scorsese, is set to stream on Nov 27. The threeand-a-half hour epic reunites classic leading men Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci for a story about mobsters that takes place across six decades. Scorsese is using cutting-edge digital technology to de-age the actors for scenes involving the younger versions of their characters. Based on Charles Brandt's book I Heard You Paint Houses, The Irishman chronicles the life and times of war veteranturned-hitman Frank Sheeran whose story intertwines with that of notorious union leader Jimmy Hoffa. Expect a drama that's at once gritty, violent, elegant and heartbreaking - a formula only Scorsese has perfected.
The Irishman streams on Netflix on Nov 27.
