Malaysia: Shares inch down at Friday's open

MALAYSIA share prices opened slightly weaker on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.69 points to 1,563.43 as at 9.02am.
Volume was 37.1 million lots worth RM19.3 million.
Gainers beat losers 117 to 38.
